The ultimate in flavorful, fun desserts combine two of the best: upside-down cake, and bananas foster! This sweet treat features the best of both tasty worlds. Everyone will go bananas for this upside-down dessert! Even better than the dessert itself: The recipe makes two cakes, which means you get seconds.
- Sliced bananas (4)
- Melted butter (4tbsp)
- Chopped pecans (1/2c)
- Brown sugar (1/2c)
- Banana cake mix (1pkg)
Method of preparation:-
- First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take two pans, grease and flour these pans. Mix brown sugar and butter, smear evenly between the 2 pans. Take chopped pecans, sprinkle them over both sugar mixtures and then keep the banana slices over each.
- Now prepare the cake mixture and then divide it into two pans. Place the cake pans in the preheated oven and then bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Turn the cake upside down on a platter and then remove the cakes carefully from the pans.
Made this cake today, it was moist and delicious plus the caramelized bananas on the top explodes with flavor. Easy to make and well worth it, my family loved this cake.
