Eggless Vanilla Sponge Cake

Do you love chocolate cake but do not want to use egg. This eggless chocolate cake recipe in a pressure cooker in Hindi will prove that egg is not important for delicious and spongy cake. I have also used condensed milk in the recipe.

The important thing to keep in mind when baking an eggless chocolate cake is that milk should be at room temperature. Remember to add baking powder, baking soda, and vinegar. They react together to give a nice texture to the eggless chocolate cake.


  1. Grated mix fruits (1c)
  2. mashed banana with little lime juice (1c)
  3. milk (1/4c)
  4. self-rising flour (2c)
  5. vanilla essence (1tsp)
  6. soda bicarbonate (1tsp)
  7. butter (125gms)
  8. water (1c)
  9. sugar (1c)

Method of preparation:

  1. Take a pan, heat butter, sugar and water in it until the butter gets melt. Keep it to cool completely. Add sugar bicarbonate to the mixture.
  2. Take a bowl, mix flour, mix fruits, mashed banana and milk in it. Now mix both the mixture together. Add the vanilla extract in it.
  3. Take a baking pan, grease it and then pour the whole batter into the pan. Place the pan in the oven and bake it for about 1 hour at 180 C. Now the egg less cake is ready.
